Community-Based Wildfire & Prescribed Fire Training
Train With The Auburn Ravine PBA
The Auburn Ravine Prescribed Burn Association continues to support community-based wildfire resilience through hands-on fire training, live fire experience, and prescribed burning education.
Our training opportunities are designed for landowners, volunteers, new fire practitioners, and experienced firefighters looking to expand their knowledge and qualifications in wildland and prescribed fire operations.

NWCG S-130 Firefighter Type 2 Skills Days (FREE FOR PBA MEMBERSHIP)
S-130 Skills Days is a 2-day hands-on field training designed to reinforce essential wildland firefighter skills through practical exercises and live demonstrations. Participants will complete fire shelter deployment, hand tool use, hose lays, line construction, firing device familiarization, and other core firefighter tasks required for NWCG Firefighter Type 2 training.
